On July 5, Sharp Electronica Mexico S.A. de C.V. (SEMEX: a manufacturing company in Mexico) participated in a national reforestation campaign "Plant a Tree," planting trees at the park and the Sport Unit Center, "El Profe."
This campaign was proposed by the President of the Mexican Republic, Felipe Calderon, and a total of 500 trees were planted by approximately 100 participants from the Rosarito community.
The Mayor of Rosarito attended the event, accompanied by his associates, along with the SEMEX employees.
SEMEX will continue with its contributions to the community throughout the year of 2008.
