Students who participated in the environmental class

On March 1, Sharp-Roxy Electronics Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd. (SREC, a manufacturing company in Malaysia) conducted an environmental class for about 100 students at a local primary school.
A lecturer from SREC talked about the actual situation of global warming and of the need to deal with it, as well as about the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle). After the class, the participants studied environmental issues with interest through a coloring contest.
SREC also exhibited panels to introduce Sharp's environmental activities, and planted some trees.
School teachers expressed their thanks by saying that, through this program, the children learned what they could do to preserve the environment, as well as how to practice 3R at home.
